Biiboard สื่อบันเทิงสัญชาติอเมริกันรายงานว่า เกือบครึ่งของผู้ใช้บริการสตรีมมิ่งทั่วโลก (รวมถึงคู่แข่งรายใหญ่ของ Spotify อย่าง Apple Music ด้วย) ใช้แพ็กเกจ Family Plan เนื่องจากสามารถลดคค่าใช้จ่ายในการใช้งานได้มากถึง 70 เปอร์เซ็นต์ สำหรับการหาร 199 บาทจำนวน 5 คนใน Family Plan แทนที่จะจ่าย 129 บาท เพื่อใช้งานเพียงคนเดียว
